Never alone

Feeling alone is a deep and vulnerable theme. It is hardly talked about, but that does not mean it is not there. It is very painful and hard to feel this. Even if you have people around you, this does not mean that you cannot feel lonely. With this drawing I hope to send people light, warmth and strength.

Losing someone is very hard, physically, not physically. Then the memories remain, these are so important. Beautiful moments to look back on or less beautiful moments. It's all part of it.
This drawing also felt like a tangle of emotions. I try to give it a nice twist so that it becomes less heavy.
Rest on time

This painting is about turning inward, seeking silence and slowing down. In this world where everything goes so fast, it is sometimes important to take a break.

The book ''The Alchemist'' was a great source of inspiration. This image emerged while reading this book. The idea behind this drawing is, after a long journey of adventure and getting to know yourself.
Becoming one with everything you encounter. Being together with nature and going with the flow. I also wanted to show the softness of masculine energy.
It's so earthy and warm energy. Which unfortunately is often experienced as hard and rough. When male and female energy are one. It feels free, formless and open.
